My Schedule & Black Rock City: Green Gorilla Lounge Playa Project 2005
Hey burners,
I’ll be with Green Gorilla Lounge again this year. We’ve been moved
across the city: we’ll be at 10:00 & Bipolar this year (the streets
go Esplanade, A, B, C, D, etc… we’ll be at "B").
We’re scheduled to arrive on Saturday, August 27th at some point in
time. We plan on having the bar/nightclub open in time for Happy Hour
on Wednesday, August 31st, though you’re certainly welcome to drop by
earlier.
Also, if you’re looking for my personal DJ Schedule, here’s what I have so far:
GARLYNN @ BRC 2005
TUESDAY: 1am-4am @ StarLush Camp, in the 9:00 Plaza with the lit-up
dancefloor (they’re at 4:00 if you’re standing in the center of the
plaza and facing the Man).
WEDNESDAY: At Green Gorilla (10:00 & Bipolar), time still TBD
THURSDAY: At Green Gorilla (10:00 & Bipolar), time still TBD
FRIDAY: At Starlush (9:00 Plaza), 10pm to 1am
SATURDAY: On board the Nautilus blue ex-MUNI articulated mutant bus
vehicle thingy, starting after the burn and continuing until I get
off… then, potentially a followup set at Green Gorilla, time still
TBD.
We’re still firming up the Green Gorilla DJ schedule, so I’ll post
it if I see it before the playa. Otherwise, drop on by on Wednesday to
find out what it looks like for the rest of the week. Tentatively, the
theme nights are:

Wed. Aug 31st to Sat. Sept. 3rd
Wed. "Hump the Funk"
Djs playing funk, disco & downtempo from happy
hour ’till you stop!
Thur. "Busy Beaver Happy Hour"
Lady djs happy hour! Followed by GGL djs bringin’
the funk!
Fri. "Green Flash sunset party followed by Gender
Bender crossdressing house mayhem!"
Sat. "Burn Baby Burn"
Come help us finish drinking the booze!
"free cold drinks, deep and funky music and
too many sick djs to name!!"
